Custom private guided tours

450.00€ – 960.00€

Edible Paris offers customized private tours for up to eight people (beyond eight people we recommend using two guides). Tours last three hours and may take place in the morning or late afternoon.

We usually focus on one or two neighborhoods, which may be on the Left Bank or Right Bank. In the company of our food gurus, who are bilingual longtime residents of Paris and culinary professionals, you will get an insider’s look at the traditional and modern food scenes in Paris, with plenty of tastings along the way.

Once you have booked your tour,  you will receive a questionnaire to help determine your food preferences and wishes for the tour. People of all ages are welcome, including young children.

Please use the form at the foot of the page to select a date before returning to this page, once we’ve confirmed availability, to book your tour online.

Here are a few tour possibilities, which may be adapted to your specific wishes:

St-Germain pastry tour

The past few years have seen an explosion of pastry shops in this historically food-loving quartier. During this tour, you will taste both traditional and innovative cakes, discovering how a new generation of pastry chefs is reinventing the classics.

St-Germain chocolate tour

The sweet-loving St-Germain area is the epicenter of the city’s sophisticated chocolate scene. During this tour, you will discover what distinguishes Paris chocolatiers from those of other places renowned for their chocolate such as Switzerland, Belgium or Turin. You will learn about how chocolate is made and, depending on the season, you may also taste some of the city’s finest hot chocolate.

Aligre market tour

East of place de la Bastille on the Right Bank, the up-and-coming Aligre area is one of the best places to explore the changing Paris food scene. In a space of a few blocks, you’ll visit a lively outdoor market, a covered market, specialized food shops and one of the most atmospheric wine bars in Paris. You can end this tour with a meal at Miss Lunch, the welcoming bistro run by multitalented Edible Paris guru Claude Cabri!

Happy customers

We ate and ate…
We loved the breakfast. We loved the little shops you recommended and ate and ate and ate… we felt like insiders.

So… thank you very much! With a smile from Amsterdam.
